I’ve been looking forward to this moment for years!  The roof project on the Old Village Church is, for all intents and purposes, complete.  There are a couple of odds and ends to finish up, but basically we have a new roof on that building.  It’s been quite the project and we should all breathe a big sigh of relief that we have accomplished this major undertaking.  Many thanks to all of you, but in particular we need to thank Claude  for taking over the role of project manager and devoting his summer to supervising the work done by Fenn-Way Builders and Black Ox Roofing.  The completion of this project calls for a celebration and we have one planned in conjunction with our fall meeting on November 14^th.  There will be an open house and reception with refreshments at the Old Village Church from 12:30 – 2:00 PM followed (at 2:00 PM) by a speaker at the Tenney Memorial Library.  I hope everyone can join us for the afternoon.  More details about the reception and the speaker appear later in this newsletter.
