Gardening Group

Currently we have 2 excellent trips planned for this summer:
1.  Saturday, July 1 – Bedrock Gardens in Epping, NH.  In addition to tours of the gardens, there will also be an antique car show that day as well as food trucks to supply us with food for a picnic lunch.  Known not only for their grounds but also for their granite sculptures, this looks like a really interesting place to visit.  Add in some antique cars and we might even convince some other members of our family to join us!  It’s possible we’ll want to get an early start to the day in hopes of catching the 10:30AM garden tour, but we’ll work out the details once we see how many people plan to join us.  Check them out at  bedrockgardens.org.

2.  Saturday, August 5 – Distant Hill Gardens in Walpole, NH.  Like Bedrock Gardens, Distant Hill Gardens is only open to the public on certain weekends each month.  In addition to their display gardens, they also are know for their accessible trails.  As part of this expedition, we’re planning on a splurge lunch at the nearby Burdick’s  Restaurant.  More information for these places can be found at distanthillgardens.org and 47mainwalpole.com.
